Hoco
Homecoming is full of making memories and spending quality time with friends. Throughout the day you get to enjoy the homecoming pep rally, game, and dance, but what about the other fun traditions like making bouquets and taking pictures? I’m here to tell you all about my pre homecoming plans with my close friend, Kynsley Breandenburg, and why they are so meaningful! I would love to share our memories with you!
Brunch & Bouquets!
The morning of Homecoming is so exciting, I love waking up knowing I am about to make the best memories. We start the homecoming events with one of my favorite activities: brunch and bouquets! During this time we made our flower bouquets! When we walk in the house, a mix of pink, yellow, and white flowers are arranged on the table along with beautiful ribbon to tie them together. We spend a couple hours arranging the flowers in a way we love, and talking about the exciting day to come!
Getting Ready!
After we made our flower arrangements we got ready. It was just me and my best friend; a perfect chance to have some relaxation before the night to come. There is nothing that represents girlhood better than giggling and curling each other’s hair. We took our time making sure to enjoy every moment of this special time together. After hair and makeup, it was time to put on our dresses! We both took time to buy dresses that represented us, many weeks before, and now it was time to show each other! I chose to wear a flowy pink dress that had bows on the sleeves and looked like it was from a fairy tale. Kynsley chose to wear a tight yellow dress with pink flowers on it which could not represent her more! We looked at each other with joy and excitement; ready to put on our shoes and take pictures!
Pictures!
We got out of the car after arriving at our destination to take pictures, stumbling in our heels. We made sure to take many pictures together to remember this special time in our life, knowing it is short lived. But it is.This time in our life is full of laughter and joy with no worries or big responsibilities. So remember to enjoy it, and cherish every moment.
