Ryan Newby is a senior at Woodford County High School. It is his first year writing for The Jacket Journal. He enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors. He would like to go into a career in forestry where he can do what he enjoys. Ryan likes creative writing, but has no experience in writing journalistic pieces. He likes to do things in ways that are different than what most would do.
