The sun’s shining bright on our old Kentucky home. Keeneland is one of the best and most beautiful horse racing venues in the world! Located in Lexington, KY, it offers elite horse racing between the months of April and October. The audience is typically older adults who own horses or bet money on the races, but what could a teenager do at Keeneland? 

Teens who want to go to Keeneland are definitely more limited on activities than the adults, but there are still fun things to do at Keeneland as a teenager. The Keeneland Kids Club is the official club for Keeneland fans ages 12 and under. The club offers exclusive events, educational opportunities and lots of time to learn and grow a love for horse racing. 

Additionally, Sunrise Trackside is a family-friendly event teens can participate in, and  some of the activities include meet and greets with Buckles, facepainting and more exciting games! The kids club family day offers free general admission and reserved grandstand seating for teenagers to watch the horses race and learn more about horse racing. 

Keeneland may be more limited when it comes to activities for teenagers but overall, there are still fun programs to participate in. The adults at Keeneland may have more mature activities but students still can have a good time. The Keeneland season has already started and it’s sure to be a packed house with everyone watching and learning about horse racing!
