The Jackets are heading to the state semi-finals! They’ve played amazing football, leading them to the place they are now. They are heading to Owensboro to play the Red Devils for the state semi game.
The Jackets have played three games to get to where they are now, beating out the Boone County Rebels, Collins Titans, and the Scott County Cardinals. Woodford dominated the Rebels in the first game of the playoffs (winning 54-7) a week before facing the Titans (winning 55-35). The Jackets then found the team who wanted revenge on them for an annihilation earlier in the season: the Cardinals. Scott County had vengeance on their minds this game, but yet again the Jackets didn’t disappoint, winning 45-31 and sending the Cards home.

Next week, the Jackets are heading to Owensboro. Woodford is looking to make history in this game, eyeing their first state championship run since 1976!
