Kristen’s Kreations is such a staple in Versailles along with all the special and unique boutiques Versailles has to offer. Since the holidays are right around the corner, trying out some of Kristen’s cupcakes just seemed like the perfect way to start off this christmas season. 

She comes out with new flavors every week or so, but I’m going to try some of the originals; Snickerdoodle, Peppermint White Chocolate, Buddy the Elf Chocolate, and Red Velvet. 

The Snickerdoodle is a Snickerdoodle cupcake with buttercream and a little Snickerdoodle cookie on the top. The cupcake and icing was good but I think that the cookie was overbaked just because of how small it is. 

The Red Velvet was a Red Velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting with a little snowflake on top. I thought it was delicious, the red velvet was perfect and the cream cheese frosting wasn’t too sweet. 

The Peppermint White Chocolate was a vanilla cupcake and white chocolate frosting and crushed candy cane sprinkled on top. I really liked it but I feel like there could have been more peppermint incorporated into the cupcake. 

The Buddy the Elf was a Chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting piped on to look like spaghetti, and treats sprinkled on top to look like the meal Buddy the Elf had in the movie. I thought that the cupcake was delicious so was the icing, the gummies and the things on top didn’t really go with the taste of the cupcake and the icing but it was a fun cupcake.
