Katherine Marks was born in New England, Rhode Island. She moved from Rhode Island where she was a fashion model for two years. After she moved to New Orleans, she started her own fashion dress shop where she designed and sold to very wealthy customers. Then she got married and moved to Kentucky with her husband because he got a job in education. She has now been teaching for 12 years. She chose art because it was a natural thing for her. She became a teacher because she likes working with new minds.
