This February 11th Lexington Church Academy held its very own Martial Arts Tournament. There are people all over the United States that come to these tournaments, and I am one of the lucky few that get to come to the tournament and be a judge. The judges keep score for open hand forms, weapons, and sparring. Open hand forms consist of just hands and feet, no objects or anything else. Weapons forms consist of weapons like comas, swords, bo staff, nunchucks, and other traditional Japanese weapons. Sparring is as it sounds, you fight multiple opponents individually to get 1st p place.
