The Most Stressful Time of the Year: Finals Week
It’s that time of year again — Finals Week! Find some helpful tips on how to do well on finals as well as the complete WCHS finals schedule.
Finals are coming up for WCHS students and although it can be one of the most stressful times of the year, there are some steps that you can take to ace finals week.
10 Tips for Surviving Finals Week:
- Make the most of class time — ask questions! Teachers are there to help you.
- Study with classmates — having a study group with friends can be greatly beneficial.
- Stay organized — knowing the finals schedule is very important (WCHS schedule down below).
- Stay focused — know exactly what you need to review and complete.
- Don’t procrastinate — even though procrastinating is tempting, begin studying early on, and you will thank yourself later!
- Pace yourself — cramming in too much information can lead to burnout & anxiety.
- Take breaks — reward yourself for your hard work.
- Quiz yourself — one of the best ways to prepare for an exam is by quizzing yourself and going back to questions that were missed.
- Color code — create a system of color-coding from the most difficult to the easiest topics.
- Eat right — although this may seem silly, providing your body with nourishing food is essential for a healthy brain.
