Old vs. New

Comparing Amsden coffee to Starbucks coffee

Old+vs.+New

On Sunday, our group of coffee lovers ventured to the new cafe, Amsden, to try their new treats.

We tasted the mocha, the latte, and the hot chocolate. But coffee isn’t complete without a snowman- shaped sugar cookie!

After enjoying the delightful drinks from Amsden, we traveled down to Starbucks by Kroger to compare.

We tasted the caramel latte, hot chocolate, and vanilla bean frappuccino. We also ordered the snowman- shaped sugar cookie with icing on it.

Overall, while we enjoyed the Starbuck drinks, the Amsden ones tasted sweeter and more savory. At Starbucks, many of us agreed that the hot beverages tasted watered down, while the ones at Amsden had a full-bodied taste to them.

Along with the tasty foods and drinks, Starbucks and Amsden both had very friendly employees and both had cozy and nice vibes to them. Sitting in both places was very nice.

If any of you want to try coffee, remember to do it with a friend! They’ll thank you a latte!
