We have a green house class?!

Throughout the years Woodford County High School has had a greenhouse class taught by Mrs. Probst. In this class, you learn about the plants and the parts of them. The first semester is about learning the way the plants work and being able to identify them. You also learn the structure of flowers and etc. Many students have taken this class and loved it!

I like the greenhouse because it expanded my knowledge of plants and how to grow plants. I also got to learn how to run a business, and have fun with my friends while doing it!

Succulents are something you can purchase in the greenhouse! (Amel)

During the second semester, the class is out in the greenhouse transplanting and planting the plants. They work hard all semester for the opening day. On April 26 the greenhouse opened and business was booming! The place was packed right up to closing time.

The greenhouse has been the best experience in so many ways. It taught me how to take on some responsibility by caring for the plants. It also was so much fun to do this with my friends and is a class that we will never forget.
