Virtual Musical: Little Shop of Horrors

The 2021 Woodford County High School musical is directed by Taylor Strickland, our talented choral/musical director. It’s entitled Little Shop of Horrors, which is, in fact, a classic and well-known musical set from 1986. It is a horror/comedy mixed-genre about a geeky florist shop worker who buys a Venus flytrap in order to increase business, only to find out it has an appetite for human blood. According to the New York Times Musical review, “Little Shop” has been around the block since it first became an Off-Broadway hit, with a cast led by Lee Wilkof and the divine Ellen Greene. The musical is both humorous and frightening, and I can assure you it will retain your attention. The WCHS cast has been working very diligently to execute this musical and bring this whimsical story to life.

The musical is virtual due to the pandemic and will be live on April 30th at 6:30 pm Eastern time.

Below are interviews with the cast members and director of the musical!
