Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization that provides health services. If you did not know that PP provides health-care services, here is why. There are many Americans who are unable to afford any sort of healthcare. Planned Parenthood does not only offer services to one specific gender as mentioned anyone can receive services. Men also can visit clinics depending on locations for colon, prostate, and testicular cancer screenings, male infertility screenings, vasectomies, and sexual health services, among other necessary health treatments.

The treatments offered for women are essential reproductive and sexual health services like pelvic exams, Pap tests, cancer screenings, and testing and treatment. Planned Parenthood has screenings for HIV testing, STD testing, and even cancer screenings. These are important to have that many are unable to receive otherwise due to money or personal issues.

Planned Parenthood offers a variety of help that should be known about. On the website, there is a list of services that are not normally talked about. Planned Parenthood is not just a health service, it is also an organization that offers service to the LGBTQ community.  This organization educates young teens and adults about relationships and sex education that is not offered in their own community. This organization offers help if you are dealing with any mental health illnesses, such as depression. Planned Parenthood is not an “abortion factory” or just for women.
