Serving Up Smiles
A brief look into the WCHS food services staff and the work they do for the school
A school needs every member to function efficiently; from the principal to the custodians. The Woodford County High School Food Service staff is a very important part of the school. They serve over 1,250 students every single day. These ladies work hard in the morning and after lunch preparing and prepping for the next meal. Their work is under-appreciated sometimes and they go unrecognized. The Jacket Journal staff was able to interview these ladies and get their opinions on why they work for the school, as well as how they impact students. Also, one of our Cooks, Barbara Davis, touches on the growing problem of students stealing from the lunch line.
