Netflix VS Hulu
Battle of the streaming services!
May 4, 2018
Netflix is a streaming service widely used around the world, but could there be something better? Hulu is also a streaming service like Netflix, but which one is better?
1. Prices
Whether you purchase Hulu or Netflix, you will be paying every month for a standard membership. The cost of a standard Netflix membership is $10.99 per month but was originally $9.99 per month. Netflix raised prices to introduce new product and shows. Hulu offers a range of different prices for different packages, but their standard membership costs $7.99 per month. Hulu is cheaper than a standard Netflix membership.
2. Streaming Updates
Unlike Netflix who will release a show season all at once, Hulu releases episodes the day after or up to a week after they are released on television to the public. Hulu is known for its quick update of shows while Netflix has been known to take some time. In my opinion, Hulu is a better streaming service when it comes to updating.
3. Shows
Both streaming services offer a variety of shows. Hulu has recently made an exclusive deal with 20th Century Fox animations–this means they bought the rights to shows such as Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show from Netflix. However, Netflix does offer their huge amount of original shows that you can only watch with their service, and some of these have been hits with the public, think 13 Reasons Why, Riverdale, and Stranger Things.
So, which service do you think is better?
