How to be a #Girlboss
A piece to encourage and empower you in your everyday life.
As 2017 comes to an end and a new year approaches, it’s time to think about some resolutions for 2018, and ladies, this one is for you–how to become a girl-boss! There isn’t a set definition for the term “girl-boss.” The term can mean a multitude of things depending on who you are and where you are coming from. For me, the definition of “girl-boss” looks like a girl who is beating everyone in this crazy game that we call life. She gets her work done on time (this doesn’t mean the night before), and she plans her days out, but doesn’t overwork herself with plans. Now, at this point, you are probably thinking that a girl-boss is uptight and a workaholic, but they are so much more than that! They are people who have found the common ground between success and happiness, and I intend to work towards doing just that.
*NOTE TO SELF* Never give up happiness for success!
I am not in any way claiming to be a girl-boss myself, but becoming one is at the top of my New Year’s Resolution list. Let’s start this journey together, ladies!
