The Cincinnati Bengals season has been very disappointing as they stand at 4-6 but with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase, there is still some hope. The main problem has been the defense with some questionable free-agent signings on defense Geno Stone being the main one. Also, there is regression in Cornerback Cam Taylor Britt who over the past 2 years has been one of the best but this year has been bottom-tier these are not the only 2 that have been disappointing. This past Thursday night the Bengals played the Ravens in Baltimore who are considered one of the best teams in the league Cincinnati put up 34 points and Burrow had 428 passing yards and 4 touchdowns as Jamar Chase totaled 11 catches for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns but still the Bengals lost 35-34.
They play a pivotal game this week on Sunday football against the Chargers who are also playing for a playoff spot this game will be tough as it is in Las Angeles and the Chargers have one of the best defenses in the NFL. But if they can win this game the back end of their schedule is very favorable and winnable but they’ll likely have to go 6-1 down the stretch to make the playoffs.
