Kentucky’s football season has been a puzzling one with them being 3-6 and 1-6 within the SEC.
Kentucky’s chances of making a bowl game are pretty much gone as their remaining games are against FCS opponent Murray State and then on the road against number 5 Texas most fans are given them no chance in that game and then they finish up against Louisville who Kentucky has beaten 5 years in a row but it’ll be hard to get their 6th consecutive win as Louisville is on paper better than Kentucky.
What has made this season so puzzling is the Cats have played Georgia Ole Miss and Tennessee all top 10 teams this year and have won one of those against Ole Miss on the road and the other 2 they only lost by a combined 11 points, They have struggled most against the lesser teams losing to South Carolina, Vandy, and Auburn all at home has been what has been the most frustrating part of the season.
This could be an interesting offseason as some of the media members think that Mark Stoops will step down so we could be in for a very interesting offseason as Kentucky still has 3 games remaining maybe they can turn the tides and win out and make a bowl game but this is looking like a very slight chance.
