Bittersweet news has impacted Versailles in hearing that Yellow Rose and Company, a local boutique, unfortunately closed both locations in Versailles and in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The owner, Lindsey Williamson Howard, posted on her instagram that she was leaving the location in Versailles on November 21, 2023 and on January 18, 2024 regarding the Campbellsville location closing. 

Both of the instagram posts said that Howard had a feeling from God that it was time to close shop. “He is a loving Father, and if He leads me in another direction, well…that’s just where I’ll go.” Considering the way she wrote, it can be inferred that she didn’t want to close but she felt as though God was telling her that this was the end of this “season”  in her life. “It’s really the picture in my mind when I think of Kentucky: beautiful estates, fence-lined horse farms, quaint restaurants, coffee shops and more.” Howard said in the post. On the bright side, we now know what new business will take Yellow Rose and Co’s place in Versailles. It’s the Eden’s & Company Salon. This salon provides tanning services,specialization in blonding, extensions, and special occasion hair and make up. While there is not much information right now, their socials are filling up fast as we get closer and closer to the grand opening. Their grand opening will be on January 27, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Go check them out Here if you want to book with them.
