Fall break is an enjoyable time for students, an entire week off is typically used to enjoy time with your friends. However, things happen. For example, a police raid at the bowling alley. That might sound like it wouldn’t happen, but believe it or not, that was how my fall break was. What makes it more interesting is that it was on my friend’s birthday. Allow me to tell you the story because it will shock you.
The story starts as I go to Frankfort. I was going there since my friend hosted a birthday party that day. When I arrived we were early, so early that no one else was there yet. After my friend who we will be calling Lucas arrived, we went inside and a few people followed. Me, Lucas, Paul, Victor, Andrew, and Brooke were the initial group. Everything was normal on the first bowling game except for me bowling many gutters. Eventually, William arrived. I had no idea who William was, but he reminded me of the crazy stepdad in sitcoms.
As the second game started, we kept chatting, sang Happy Birthday to Lucas, and opened some of the presents. A bit later we decided to put some tokens into the jukebox because it would be funny, though as we put them in, the store manager came out and said that everyone needs to get out of the building now. We were all a bit shocked, but we went out and as we left the building we saw two sheriffs with assault rifles. As you can guess, this was not an incredibly fun sight to see.
We kept going further away from the building and eventually went to the other side of the street. The police explored the building, and we were all still together. We also saw a pretty cool car with its engine up which Paul was able to explain that it was a very good inside. Eventually William despite being the incredibly stupid one decided to check up on all of us. Around 10 minutes later we were allowed back inside. According to the manager, there was an escapee in the building. Shortly afterward, I had to go, but I enjoyed the experience. The only sad part is Lucas didn’t get a picture with the officers as a present.
