Jacket Journal is starting brand new projects in September. All of them are led by students and are for students or the Woodford County community. There are 2 in total, and both of them are unique in their own way. They are: A podcast and a book of the month. But what do all of these mean, and what do you need to know?
The first project is the brand new podcast and they are the SBZ’s Sports Podcast led by Sam Dowdell, Brandon Bishop, and Zach Meckley. Their goal is to entertain and educate sports fans and non-sports fans alike to bring the community together. Their first episode describes multiple topics ranging from breaking down college football to Kentucky Football so make sure to give a listen today! When asked what inspired them Sam said:
The Book Of The Month is a returning feature from Jacket Journal led by Elizabeth Jackson. Her goal is to give readers a new book to read and enjoy every month. Her first choice is already out, so go check it whenever you have the chance! If you don’t like to sink hours into a book then that’s alright, her review on the book is still a fantastic read.
