A Charlie Brown Christmas is the quintessential movie to watch during the holidays. The familiar characters and warm, cozy animation it follows really make you feel like you are at home next to a fire with Christmas lights radiating off the tree in the corner of your eye.

What really makes the movie special to me is the soundtrack. No other album or song will get me in the Christmas spirit the same way those songs can. Vince Guaraldi was really cooking when he made this soundtrack. Throughout the entire holiday season, I have it on repeat. The beginning of O Tannenbaum with the soft piano keys might be the most recognizable beginning to any Christmas song and it really evokes the feeling that the movie is trying to convey. A warm and cozy winter’s night. Linus and Lucy has the craziest piano beat you will ever hear. It goes incredibly hard, you can see snoopy dancing in the movie to this song, he really gets it. 

 All in all, this movie soundtrack combo is an elite pairing of holiday charm. No other music will get the Christmas spirit flowing the same way this will. If you haven’t watched the movie or listened to the soundtrack, I highly encourage you to do so. It is well worth your time.
