What’s it Like Being a Home-schooled Student?
An interview with someone who attends online school.
There has always been a stereotype that homeschooled kids don’t learn well. When we think of home school, we think of awkward kids taking classes online or being taught by their mothers and not having the same privileges as public/private school students. My best friend, Allisa Shuck (10), has been homeschooled for the past few years. She attends online school and agreed to do an interview with me on her experiences and day to day life. This interview seems particularly relevant at this current time, considering what is going on with NTI for all of us. Check it out below!
Her full name is Catherine, but she goes by Catie. She's a sophomore this year at WCHS and is excited for her second year on The Jacket Journal staff....
