I recently got to experience the beauty of the Cincinnati Art Museum. I was enveloped in the whimsy and found beauty in individual pieces that spoke to and inspired me.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is a hidden gem nestled in scenic Eden Park, with pieces from modern and contemporary to classic and baroque. It’s a whimsical, winding maze that definitely calls for a day trip. I highly encourage the readers to experience it for yourself, but this piece takes a small tour of the museum’s treasures that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.

When?

The museum is open Tuesday-Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. They are closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.

Parking

Museum parking is free!

Admission

Museum admission is always free. Special exhibit tickets range from free (ages 5 and under) to 10$

Special Details

  • Backpacks are not allowed inside the museum. Lockers are provided for backpacks and additional bags!
  • Non-Flash Photography is welcomed!
  • There is a cafe and gift shop included in the building
