Meet The Mustangs!

A fun and informative event for prospective Mustang adopters to attend next year

Parker Robinson, Staff Reporter

There are an estimated 81,951 wild mustangs in the United States and 11,472 which have been removed from the wild. Those 11,472 wild horses need homes and don’t deserve to be kept in small, enclosed, spaces with numerous other horses where they are forced to

adapt. Only about 5,000 of those who have been removed have been placed into private care, while the other half are still waiting for their forever homes and adequate care and affection. Events such as “Meet the Mustangs” give prospective adopters a chance to learn about Mustangs and how to properly train them so that they can perform their best. The Meet The Mustangs event took place on April 6th of this year and Triple R Ranch will hopefully be holding a similar event next fall. So if you weren’t able to attend this year, you’ll have a chance next year! More information on the event can be found here.
