Octopath Traveler: Eight Paths to Glory

We’re back with another season of Toying with Games! All throughout summer, even more fantastic titles have been released within the gaming industry. However, there is one title that seems to have piqued everyone’s interest this summer; Octopath Traveler was released on July 13th, and since its release has already sold over one million copies. This is no easy feat, however it is not surprising considering this game was developed by Square Enix. You may recognize this name as being famous for developing the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Nier, and Dragon Quest series. Even with that being said, while utilizing familiar conventions, Octopath Traveler also possesses unique traits that make it that much more enthralling than other RPGs.
