My top 10 Vines

Vine was an operating social media application available on multiple platforms. Vine allowed for people to post short, six-second looping videos for comedic effect. It was initially released five years ago on January 24, 2013. Unfortunately, the app was discontinued in January of 2017 due to issues with maintenance. During the four years Vine was up and running, it took over modern social media and influenced a new, upcoming media culture. Through other platforms, the six-second videos live on and continue to make people laugh. Out of the thousands of hilarious Vines out there, I’ve chosen ten that I think best represent the spirit of what Vine was and why it became so loved by the youth.
