“My favorite team bonding moment from this season was beating Henry Clay,” said Abbey Peterson (10). “We beat them 11-4, it felt good because they beat us in state last year so that was fun. Another thing that brought us closer was our coaches, they would make fun of us, imitate us, it always made all of us laugh.”

“Mine was practicing in the snow, we would throw snow at each other and mess around,” said Giselle Uribe (10). “We really wanted (to win) state, since we lost last year so that motivated us,” said Uribe. “Yeah, I think the team also keeps everyone motivated, we all really love each other,” said Peterson. “It felt amazing to win state this year, we’re getting new players next year and hopefully we’ll bring home another state championship.”
