55 Years of Success
Did you know that The Jacket Journal was once called The Tattle-Tale?
The Jacket Journal got its name because of the Yellow Jacket mascot. Before we became The Jacket Journal, we were called The Tattle-Tale. The Tattle-Tale has many unknown secrets. Why do we only have articles from 1923-1924? Where is the rest of The Tattle-Tale? Well, we can’t answer that, but I can answer that the Tattle-Tale was called that until 1963 when the new school was starting to be built. The new school did not open until 1965. The Jacket Journal was born in 1963 because they came up with the Yellow Jacket mascot, and thus it was born. Therefore, The Jacket Journal is 55 years old.
