“Hello, I’m Penelope. I typically go by Peanut. I’m frequently made fun of for being “the ugliest dog” anyone has ever seen. Sometimes people say that my mom felt bad for me and that’s the only reason she brought me home from the Woodford County Humane Society. Personally, I think I’m just fine. I just like to eat and sleep. What’s wrong with that? Absolutely nothing! My mom is a teacher so my favorite thing to do is wait for her to come home. It’s amazing. That’s pretty much the only time I get up during the day. My grandma yells at me when I bark for mom. I’m just excited! I want her to know I love her. If I didn’t bark, she would think I was upset. That’s not good for anyone!”
