Emilie Rice

Emilie Rice is a Junior at Woodford County High School and has lived in Woodford her entire life. Emilie is one of my best friends and has been involved in many different things. While being away from her for a month due to social distancing, I thought a phone interview with her was perfect.

Spirit weeks at high school because I get to spend time with my friends and work together as a grade.

I love going to the dog park or riding to the Top of the World.

Emilie’s dog Noko is a white Samoyed. He is a little over a year old and loves to play and show off his tricks to everyone.

My dog Noko and being able to spend time around my friends and family.

What is your favorite activity/hobby?

I like to cheer with the school and my friends. I love going hiking in the summer or on a weekend I have off. I also enjoy cooking and baking things.

What is one of your favorite moments with your friends in Woodford County?

Going on outdoor adventures with my friends such as ice skating and bonfires.

What is your favorite thing about WCHS?

The spirit that our school has and everyone supporting each other at sporting events.

What makes you most excited about your senior year?

Ellen Gormley
Emilie and her friends before the Jacketfest dance.

Just being the top dog. Able to run through the halls, having all the senior activities, and spending my last year with all of my friends.

Where would you say is the best “hangout” place in Woodford County?

Falling Springs, Kroger, or McDonald’s. Even though it is a small town there are many spots to hang out and as long as I am with my friends anything can be fun anywhere.
