Kayce Ireland: WCHS Through Her Eyes
Kayce Ireland graduated from WCHS in 2018, but while she was here she enjoyed her time. Kayce is my sister, and I happened to spend two weeks with her while quarantining, so she seemed like the perfect person to interview.
What is your favorite memory of Woodford County?
My favorite memory in Woodford County is cheerleading on Friday Nights. The student section was always so excited and the whole town came and supported the football team.
What’s one of your favorite things to do in Woodford County?
My favorite thing to do in Woodford County is yoga on the top of the castle. I’ve done goat yoga and sunset yoga there before and each time was memorable and enjoyable. The view and the castle are beautiful.
What makes you smile?
My puppy, my students at the gym, and my family.
What is your favorite hobby/activity?
I love to cheer. I cheered all throughout high school and I even coach at a cheer gym.
Q: What is one of your favorite moments with your friends in Woodford County?
My favorite memory with friends was driving the country roads while listening to music and rolling down the windows on summer evenings.
What would you say to people just moving to Woodford County?
Drive the country roads and go to the festivals. Take in the scenery and become a part of the community.
What is one of your best stories from Woodford County?
My best story was helping out with Mr. WCHS! The entire experience was memorable and so funny.
