Lori DeVore is a daughter, wife, and mom who was born and raised in Woodford County. She attended Woodford County High School in the ’90s, and she loves spending time with her family and friends.
What is your favorite memory in Woodford County?
My favorite memory of Woodford County would have to be attending Woodford County High School. Woodford County High School always had the most spirit and the proms were always fun! Glad to see that my daughter gets to experience the same things as me, in the same school!
What is one of your favorite things to do in Woodford County?
Driving around the countryside! There are beautiful views of the river and places where the view seems like a picture!
What makes you smile?
My family and friends make me smile the most! They always know how to cheer me up and how to have a good time.
What is your favorite activity/hobby?
I love to bake! Especially with all of this free time available, I have been trying to bake new and fun things for my family!
What is one of your favorite moments with your friends in Woodford County?
Going to senior prom! I went all through high school and each year was extremely fun! I love spending time with my friends and getting all dressed up with them! Especially the sleepovers afterward.
What would you say to the people just moving to Woodford County?
It is a very small and tight community; word gets around! But everyone is nice and accepting and you will love it here.
What is one of your best stories from Woodford County?
I would have to say that there are too many to chose from! But there are definitely more good memories than there are bad memories!
