Meeting with Mr. Felixander J’brouclaus Sutton
Mr. Felixander J’broculus Sutton, who has a very enthusiastic and optimistic attitude, is our new biology teacher here at WCHS. Sutton got all of the teaching genes from his parents, as both of them were teachers. Sutton’s father was a high school history teacher and his mother was a kindergarten teacher. Sutton was inspired to become a teacher because he had a fascination with biology, anatomy, and medicine, along with the fact that his favorite high school teacher was his anatomy teacher. Sutton said, “He basically just had me in his classroom helping with lessons and stuff like that. Then at one point, I was just teaching a lot of his classes.“
Sutton has been teaching for about two and a half years. He attended Lincoln Memorial University at Harrogate, Tennessee and majored in Biology.
During Sutton’s free time, he enjoys working out, hiking, kayaking, gaming, and watching movies.
Sutton says he loves the culture of the WCHS community because of the desire this school has to learn and grow, and that everyone working together was very inspiring. One piece of advice that Sutton would give his students is to “be very very patient, try as hard as you can, and try to have fun.”
