Madeline Gregory

Madeline Gregory is a junior at our very own WCHS!

Gregory has a common talent, but unique voice, her voice ranges from a soprano one to a soprano two.

Not only does Gregory sing, but she can play the guitar and piano as well. As much as she loves playing instruments, nothing compares to Gregory’s most used instrument: Her voice.  She tells us that her mother always says ” I swear Madeline came out of the womb humming.”  Gregory has sung for as long as she can remember; she says singing isn’t a hobby, it’s a part of her. She sings anything from songs on the radio to songs from her church choir that she’s known from birth. Although Gregory is proud of her voice now, she used to hide her talent and tried not to stand out.

It wasn’t until she joined her church choir at Versailles Baptist that she became surer of herself; it led her to gain confidence and appreciate her voice. Everyone in town wanted to know who the little girl with the big voice was. After receiving so much support from both her community and family Gregory joined her middle school choir and is currently in our very own WCHS advanced concert choir. She now has performed over 10 solos and has sung over 100 songs in both choirs. Her next big performance will be the Christmas concert that WCHS puts on in December and she can’t wait to perform with all her classmates. She hopes that you all can make it out to the show and that you enjoy it as much as she does.
