The Jacket Journal

Jamie is a junior here at WCHS. This is her second year on The Jacket Journal. Jamie loves to write and plans to use her skills from this class to fulfill her dreams of becoming a crisis journalist after high school. She spends her free time writing, spending time with friends, and working as a hostess at Darlin' Jeans. Jamie loves Chipotle and likes to meet new people. She has a cat, Sativa, who she loves very much. If you see Jamie, nine times out of ten she has her headphones in jamming to music. She is very interested in politics and environmental issues. A quote that she feels is very important to live by is:  "The mind is everything. What you think is what you become," by Buddha. This quote is important to her because she believes that happiness is the key to success." You cannot have a good life if you do not have a healthy mental state," Jamie says. She believes that you must protect your peace of mind and spread kindness as much as you can. Jamie is looking forward to her second year as a reporter for The Jacket Journal and can't wait to share her stories.
