What is a Marcher?

A marcher is someone who marches in the marching band. Being a marcher is more complicated than you would think. We practice after school every day except Wednesdays and Sundays. We have competitions almost every Saturday. As long as there is no lightning we still practice. If we miss a practice for something that doesn’t put us in the hospital, we get in trouble and have to catch up fast. We have to have very good hygiene and stay in good health all season. Any bad stench can make our whole uniform have an odor. We have to wear uniforms that are very expensive. Our helpful band parents make sure our uniforms look nice and don’t smell.
